This Trends tool is great but I think as a Pinterest marketer, you should have a calendar of your content and publish pins up to 2-3 months ahead of the season or before the holiday. And my next tip that will help you beat Pinterest algorithm is Improve User Engagement As any other platform, Pinterest will always give a boost to content that generates higher user engagement. So what kind of engagement can you get on Pinterest? Well if you look at my stats I've shown you that in the past 30 days, I managed to get a 24% increase in the overall engagement on my pins. According to Pinterest's official definition, Engagements include saves, Pin clicks, outbound clicks, carousel card swipes, secondary creative (collections) clicks and Idea Pin forward/backward swipes. And remember what I did to get higher engagements? I just created a lot more Idea pins and Video pins on my account in the last month. On Idea pins and Video pins you'll notice that users can leave reactions like hearts. You can also leave comments. If you look at the standard image pins, users have only the commenting option but what I am trying to say is that all these engagements can help your pins rank higher and be shown to a bigger audience. What you can proactively do to get more comments on your pins is open your pins that have the highest impressions and ask a question in the comments to those pins, to prompt a conversation and responses from your audience. Another type of engagements which you should work on really hard is outbound clicks on your pins. See for example, I use Convertkit for my email newsletter, I have dozens of automations set up, I have a history of data for my subscribers, for my previously sent campaigns, I have lots of integrations set up for Convertkit to communicate with other business tools like with my online course platform, webinar platform and so on. It's a really huge endeavor to migrate your email list to another provider. So business owners don't change this kind of software frequently. That means you'll receive your 30% commission monthly for quite a long time. ConvertKit has an affiliate program and they pay a 30% commission for every customer for the first 24 months, that's 2 years since their initial subscription. Say, someone starts using Converkit with your link and initially you are getting paid 30% from the lowest plan because their email list is still small. As the time goes, the business you referred to might grow their email list and they might be paying $200/mo for a list of 25k subscribers. Now, your 30% commission is suddenly growing to $60/mo per customer. So this huge brand recognition makes Adobe easy to promote plus now with monthly fees, their products also became more affordable for regular users, and not only for business customers. For promoting Creative Cloud and Document Cloud, you can earn a commission of 85% of the first month payment made by the referral. So these were the best affiliate programs I would recommend you to join and promote but many products don't have their private affiliate platforms. They use large affiliate networks and I'd like to show you the ones I use and like the most. I mentioned some of them along the lines today but I think you might want to point out these networks to join them as well. Partnerstack If you look at their marketplace, you will see they have mostly software companies. You can apply to any of these programs in one place and then you'll get paid by Partnerstack either to your PayPal or your Stripe account for any commissions you earned from all the affiliate products you promoted. Impact This affiliate network has a larger variety of products. You will find many software companies here as well and many have actually moved to Impact in the past few years migrating from their private affiliate networks to this huge marketpalce. For example, that's what Tailwind scheduler has done, I use it to schedule my content on Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook. Bluehost hosting is now working through Impact as well. You can see here I actually have joined many affiliate programs through Impact. As an affiliate marketer, I find this way more convenient that having to keep login details in hundreds of different websites for each product I promote. You get access to all the links from all the brands in one place, you get paid by ONE company in the end of the month which makes your accounting as a business owner way easier. Probably you noticed that I have mostly software affiliate companies - well that's because my niche. But no matter what your niche is, you should also join Impact because you will see a ton of huge brands across so many categories - anything like baby toys, home and garden products, organic products, pets and sports and anything else you can think of really.
